The Evergreen Aviation Museum and the Captain Michael King Smith
Educational Institute actively collects artifacts to compliment
our educational mission. The Museum collects, preserves and interprets
the history of aviation culture through its collections, educational
programs, exhibits, research projects, library and archives.
We
invite you to consider us a worthy repository for your aviation
related objects, such as aircraft, armament, art, literature, maps,
memorabilia, photos, personal papers and equipment, power plants,
uniforms, vehicles and so forth. If you would like to offer to donate
an artifact or library materials to the Institute, please contact
a collections staff member at the museum.
The Museum seeks excellence and credibility by striving to meet
the accreditation standards of the American Association of Museums.
The Museum adheres to a Board approved Collection Management Policy
that spells out the management of our collections, in order to ensure
adequate responsibility for their safety, proper care and appropriate
